KILLL (2002-2012)

KILLL was a live-only audiovisual band consisting of Espen Hangård, Martin Horntveth, Are Mokkelbost and Erlend Mokkelbost - and light designer Kyrre Heldal Karlsen.
To conclude 10 years of concerts all over Europe, we released a live DVD on Fysisk Format in 2011. The DVD compiled recordings and footage from numerous concerts all over Europe over several years, combining official documentation tapes from the venues with early digital camera footage from the audience. The DVD was edited by Thomas Østbye and I. In addition I designed the record and posters. One year later Norwegian Megatrends released a live LP from a show at the Henie Onstad Art Center in Høvik.
The stage design was a collaboration between light designer Kyrre Heldal Karlsen and I, animating a patterned backdrop by using LED lights and colored strobes.
