FX is a temporary category for various formalist work.

Cracked Light, Fading White (2011) and Cloud To Ground (2015) are scanner photographs made by manipulating the light emitted by the scanner itself, by means of color filters and paper. As in photograms, the image-making is moved away from an activity in front of the camera to somewhere in between the camera and the image itself - in the developing of the image.
